Us history sucks because it includes all kinds of long essays including short term essay questions especially on the regents exam
Lyrics
Stack of papers on my desk, ink all over my hands
Regents breathing down my neck, got no time to make plans
Long essays, they want pages, every fact in a row
Short term questions hit like punches, where did my weekend go
US History sucks, yeah it really sucks
Essays stacking up, got me feeling stuck
Regents test is calling, pulling me down
Long essays, short answers, wearing that crown
US History sucks, oh-oh, it sucks
Thematic essay, DBQ, they all want the same thing
Dates and names and causes, gotta make the bells ring
Short answers flying fast, no room to breathe or think
History class got me sinking, right on the brink
US History sucks, yeah it really sucks
Essays stacking up, got me feeling stuck
Regents test is calling, pulling me down
Long essays, short answers, wearing that crown
US History sucks, oh-oh, it sucks
Wish it was just a quiz, quick and done
Not a mountain of words under fluorescent sun
But here I am writing, page after page
Hoping the bell rings and ends this stage
US History sucks, yeah it really sucks
Essays stacking up, got me feeling stuck
Regents test is calling, pulling me down
Long essays, short answers, wearing that crown
US History sucks, oh-oh, it sucks
